The Historical Society hosts a model train layout representative of the Western New York area in the early 1900's. The layout is 20' x 15' in HO scale and contains many reproductions of local area
landmarks, The layout was built by a local group of volunteers calling themselves The Rail Barons. The Rail Barons are always in need of new members to help enhance, maintain and operate the train exhibit. We need people with a
wide variety of skills and interests, everything from train historians to modelers. The exhibit runs from Thanksgiving through March during which time we need people to operate the layout and talk to the public.
During the off season the Rail Barons get together on Tuesday and Saturday mornings to work on the layout. If you are interested, please fill out this form and either drop it off or mail it to the above address:
Attention: Mary Louise. If you have any questions, please call the number above, or stop by and see the layout for yourself. You may also visit the Rail Barons web site at www.railbarons.org |
